SnapVaults strictly respects the intellectual property rights of others and adheres to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512. It is our policy to respond promptly to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement and immediately disable or blacklist any URLs identified in valid notices.

Important Technical Clarification

SnapVaults is a non-hosting streaming client. We do not host, store, or archive any videos, photos, or audio files on our servers. All media streams are delivered directly from Instagram CDN servers to the user browser. To permanently remove content from the Internet, copyright owners should also contact Instagram (Meta Platforms, Inc.) directly.

Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you are a copyright owner or an authorized agent thereof and believe that any content accessed through our service infringes upon your copyright, please submit a written notification to our Designated Copyright Agent with the following information:

1. A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
2. Clear identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
3. The exact Instagram URL(s) of the material that is claimed to be infringing.
4. Your contact information, including your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
